My mom called me today and said that she found a really
cute idea in one of her country magazines. It was little glass
bottles tied together with twine and used as vases. She sent
over the picture with a little note “I like these” Which translates into
”Can you make this for me?” I love to try new things and I really, really
like this idea. I can see more of these in our future…what a great way
to brighten up someone’s day. Maybe a neighbor, friend, teacher….
I used 3D glue dots to hold the jars together. The next time I make
them, I will use smaller glue dots. Then I applied Elmers glue onto
the jars and wrapped the twine around them. Baby wipes are great
for cleaning up glue smears.
I wanted to take a picture tonight of the vases with flowers in
them (I am slightly impatient and waiting until tomorrow was not
an option…haha!) So, at 8:25pm I was trying to cut semi decent
roses from our rose garden. Not to bad considering it was
quite dark outside!

Not sure why I feel the need to share this factoid but I based my blogname on the B in my name (my nephew calls me Bee)--and my name is Bethany too! I find this interesting and amusing. Love your blog too--nice and cheery.
Love it! Two of a kind :) Off to check your blog out...looks like lots of great ideas on there! Thanks for the comment.
These turned out great! You must have quite the rose garden too! Love how your mom drops subtle hints like that -- mine does too. ;-)
